More About Me

Marilyn Saner has been a San Francisco resident her entire life. Born and raised in Potrero Hill, she currently lives in the Sunset District, a place she has called home for more than 20 years. Marilyn's mark on the city of San Francisco ranges from being a member of Military Families Speak Out and longtime facilitator of the San Francisco Emergency Winter Shelter to being a thriving and thoughtful real estate agent serving home buyers and sellers across the city's diverse landscape.

The strong foundation for Marilyn's real estate business stems from both her life and work experiences. After receiving her BA in Education and an 8-year run teaching school, she worked for a large engineering and construction company where she honed invaluable skills as the lead in bidding significant government jobs around the world. The job required a sharp attention to detail and allowed her to develop a refined ability to identify the key characteristics that motivate people in the selling and buying of a property.

With her proficiencies seamlessly transferring to the real estate world, Marilyn was able to enjoy being a mother of three children with a flexible schedule, not to mention the benefit of truly being rewarded by a percentage of her dedicated efforts. Today, Marilyn is guided by her genuine care for people, and her innate ability to listen to what they want, affording her the inspiration to craft customized paths for them to reach their goals. Any one of her clients would naturally point out that she makes a real estate transaction look easy!

Marilyn is locally recognized in the real estate market and across the city. Her wholehearted dedication has steered her as she serves the homeless community, works toward ending the wars, and as an active organizer of fundraisers for Planned Parenthood. When she carves out time for herself, Marilyn likes to knit, play tennis, read, hike and walk her dog.
